Sports Highlight & Promotional Video Preparation:
1. Gather all video tapes with clips you may want to use on it
2. Mark a number on each tape to signify the Reel Number.
3. Watch through each tape
4. For MiniDV
a. Use next page to mark down the Reel Number and the Time Code
(The number on your camera that displays where in time the tape is).
The time code should state the In point of the shot and the out point
of the shot. In the comments field write down any special notes (Music,
Titles, other notes)
If using VHS, 8, Hi8:
b. Use next page to mark down the Reel Number and the Counter number
i.
Insert your tape into camera and rewind to beginning each time that it
is inserted, after tape rewinds find the counter reset button to clear
the counter to 00:00:00
ii. As you watch the tape write
down the In point of the shot and the out point of the shot. In the
comments field write down any special notes (Music, Titles, other notes)
5. Mail tapes and Edit List to: SportsAgents.Net
